Having just graduated from high school, time was near for me to go off to fulfill the duty I had agreed to do. My senior year I had signed up into the delayed entry program to serve my country as a US Marine. It was the best thing I had ever done. I remember the first letter our drill Sgt. dictated for us to send home that we had arrived safely. My Mother told me if you don't write home expect that embarrassing phone call to your commanding officer, lol. During my tour I spent 6 months out of the country. I wrote many letters home. I really enjoyed getting mail from home. Yes, it crossed my mind like all military personnel, will I return home? If I could of written that last letter just in case to be sure my parents, girlfriend and family knew that I loved them. Having that thought is another reason why I started my business. God bless our US Troops and veterans.
